Shipping Considerations
Shipped via UPS ground with tracking provided. Please note, we can not be responsible for porch piracy! If tracking shows delivered we will be provided a photo by UPS. It is the customers responsibility to follow tracking and coordinate either someone being present to accept or have a secure location for UPS to drop off.
Shipping cost reflects bulky item charge (oversized packaging) through UPS. The larger the box, the more they charge! UPS rates have sky rocketed as have box prices, labor, shipping materials and raw materials.
F.A.Q.'s
Q: Is the price for the enire seesaw?
A: No. The price above is for just the base as shown. You will need to provide your own plank.
Q: What size plank will I need?
A: You will need a 12'L x 12"W plank. Thicker planks are best. Thin decking planks or composit planks are too flimsy. Due to milling of lumber, your plank may measure +-1/2" smaller in width. This is ok!
Q: Where can I buy a plank and does it need to be painted?
A: Your plank can be purchased at almost any major home improvement center or lumber yard. Prices vary. Pine is the most common species. Be sure to find the straightest plank with the least amount of knots. It is highly recommended to paint your plank prior to installation with a high quality exterior grade paint. Traction is very important! Using paint only without traction is highly discouraged and can be very dangerous to your pet as slipping can occur. We recommend our Agility Finish® paint substrate which can be found here. A more expensive option is to have your plank professionally rubber chip coated.
